Entanglement Technologies is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to have an integral role in developing and executing our business strategy and expanding our growth opportunities. Our flagship chemical detection platform, the AROMA, provides market-disrupting, best-in-class detection capabilities that have the potential to revolutionize the analytical instrumentation industry. As an integral member of our sales team, you will lead the generation of key opportunities for new customer engagement. You will also have the opportunity to shape company strategy on sales and marketing and will be expected to develop and implement successful strategies to penetrate high-value markets and new accounts. 


  • Partner with Sales Executives and management on the development of a value-creation business strategy. 
  • Provide strategic input to Entanglement Technologies’ sales pipeline and effectively convey recommendations to senior management. 
  • Articulate and communicate the vision and value for the business to customers and the scientific community.
  • Provide constructive feedback from customers to management to help guide the continual development of products and services that more effectively address customer’s needs.
  • Understand AROMA applications in environmental, petrochemical, life sciences, applied market, and government market segments and recognize trends that impact buying of products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience and/or working in a laboratory research setting
  • Experience working with analytical instrumentation and environmental monitoring
    • Relevant techniques include mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, gas chromatography
  • Experience with lead generation, customer engagement, and opportunity creation and maintenance, a plus
  • Experience with Customer Management Relationship (CRM) platforms, specifically Salesforce, a plus
  • Previous experience working with customer purchasing teams to manage effective contract negotiations, a plus
  • Working knowledge of competitive products (specifications, applications, value propositions), a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action
  • An approach that is hands-on, positive, results-orientated, and success-driven
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with good orientation to detail
  • Sophisticated level of computer proficiency
  • Ability to interface at all levels within an organization for both internal/external customers
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time – subject to current events
