We are seeking an energetic and motivated Account Executive who believes in joining us in our mission to build a better tomorrow. In a direct sales role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Entanglement Technologies’ instrumentation and services across the country and across multiple industries. As an integral member of the growing sales team, you will use your excellent sales track record and industry connections to focus on acquiring new customers while expanding our application portfolio and retaining and growing our existing customer base. As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to shape company strategy on sales and product development and will be expected to develop and implement successful sales strategies to sell high-value scientific products and services based on our AROMA analyzers to complex, industry accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales of AROMA analyzers and services into the environmental, petrochemical, life sciences, and applied market government industries
  • Experience in large, high-profile account management including development, negotiation, and execution of pricing agreements
  • Effectively prospect to find and close new opportunities in new and existing accounts
  • Effectively manage a funnel of leads and opportunities in CRM and provide an accurate monthly sales forecast and overall growth narrative for industries and applications
  • Develop and execute strategic, industry business plans that will enable Entanglement Technologies to gain market share and achieve sales goals in the industry
  • Conduct product presentations and instrument usage demos with and without assistance from the Technical Team
  • Provide constructive feedback from customers to management to help guide the continual development of products and services that more effectively address customer’s needs
  • Understand AROMA applications in environmental, petrochemical, life sciences, applied market, and government market segments and recognize trends that impact buying of products and services
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of environmental, petrochemical and government laboratories and analyses market spaces – required
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully selling analytical instrumentation and services to industry laboratories – required
  • BS degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field – required
  • Extensive experience in B2B development solutions in environmental, petrochemical, life science, biotechnology or related industry – required
  • Industry / Application Expertise – Working knowledge of competitive products (specifications, applications, value propositions) a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with initiative, objective attainment intensity, and solid business judgment
  • Proven ability to sell creative solutions to high level customer personnel
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with good orientation to detail
  • Strong technical, business, and financial acumen
  • Highly effective negotiation skills
  • Sophisticated level of computer proficiency
  • Previous experience working with customer purchasing teams to manage effective contract negotiations preferred.
  • Ability to interface at all levels within an organization for both internal/external customers
  • Highly motivated, with excellent self-management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team selling environment to achieve sales goals
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time – subject to current events
  • Primary Residency in Western U.S. preferred
